How to use these dialogues

Read the Dutch aloud, then the translation. Repeat turns, swap roles, and finally cover the translations to test yourself. Use the phrases boxes to swap words and create new lines.

Pro tip: Record yourself and compare rhythm and word stress. In Dutch, content words carry the stress; function words are usually lighter.

1) Greetings & introductions
